The Strand of the Ancients battleground is a gold mine of honor if you play it the right way. With it you can get more honor, faster, than ever before. All you need to do is follow a few simple rules. This new battleground has changed the way players play the battleground game. Farming for honor points has become easier, and a lot more fun, as the Strand of the Ancients is based on mainly PVP and not objectives.
Also the battleground is the sorter of all end game battlegrounds up until this one. This means that you can go in and get out several times in one site down, changing groups in the process. Or getting in to a battleground, finishes it quickly, and gets to do other things as well.
What to expect inside the Strand of the Ancients battleground?
You will have a side, either defense or offensive, you only have one objective - defend the keep or take the keep. If you fail, you lose. You have up to three runs (or rounds), if one side wins the first two rounds the battleground is over.
Each one of the run is limited to ten minutes, so the all battleground will take maximum of half an hour.
This means that you don't get honor points from completing of objectives, but mainly from PVP. You see you don't have a choice to finish the battleground fast if you try to avoid from getting in front of you opponent or going after your rival.
So to summarize the Strand of the Ancients battleground - you get more kills, with fewer objectives, in a very shorter time. That means more honor points for you.
