Getting Gold in WoW - The Power of Gathering

World of Warcraft is one the fastest-growing, fun-to-play games in the world. With millions of members playing steadily, and thousands more joining every single day, there are plenty of tips and tricks flying around. Some of the best have to do with getting gold in WoW. Now, it's not overly simple in terms of speed, but in terms of ease, it's right up your alley. The method we'll go over here is called gathering.

You want to be a pack rat for this method to work successfully. Yes, I know; you'd rather be casting spells and killing demons during the game. But the bottom line is: you need gold. And getting gold in WoW is exciting and easy when gathering materials. Remember: everything is useful.

You can gather many things throughout the game: Leather, oils, fish, linen, wool, mageweave, herbs, gems, stones, fishing poles, ore, and the list goes on and on. With every piece you collect and store in your proverbial rat hole, there's ample gold to be made. One of the main things you must do when gathering: always be on the lookout for any drop items. For example, if you're planning on surveying the land and run into a group of easy-to-kill unfriendly enemies, pick up whatever the drop.

A lot of players in World of Warcraft devote most of their time to gathering. Depending on which level you're on and where you gather, you can make a lot of gold per hour. It's one of the easiest techniques to pursue in the game, but unless you do it right, it can be one of the most time consuming. The trick is to know where to sell your items.

Some people try to find individual players to sell to, but you should always go to the auction house. Crafters and others who need those supplies will pay top dollar for the items you gather. Just remember to grab everything. It all has value.
