Obviously, the higher your level, the more gold you'll be able to learn. The hard part, of course, is leveling up. Sometimes it takes forever to do so, as you grind and grind away. Questing and leveling your professions are other ways to make gold. You need to learn how to determine which quests are worth doing and which ones are not. It's not possible to do every single quest in WoW, so don't even bother with trying.
What is possible, however, is doing quests in a certain way in order to make leveling go by as quickly as possible. If you're somewhat of a beginner, you may be working on quests that will just slow you down and hurt you over time. You may not know which ones are for the best and which ones are only a waste of time. A waste of time, of course, is a loss of gold.
Perhaps one of the biggest mistakes WoW beginners make is trying to do either quests that are too easy for them or too hard. Doing either will result in wasted time and gold. Never, ever bother with any quests that are too far below your level. Go through your quest log right now and abandon any quests that are in white. Abandon any in green that only offers rewards that are below your level.
Don't attempt any red quests by yourself, or you'll just end up getting killed over and over again. Wait until you have help, or are leveled up a bit so that it turns orange. Orange quests aren't as impossible, but they can still be challenging in World of Warcraft. Make sure you use caution, and you should successfully complete them!
